ANIMATION WORKSHOPS

Traditional animation

Workshops can be split into two categories. You can book a one-off 2-8 hour workshop. In this workshop, young people can engage in the art of animation and just have fun.

Or 2nd choice is a more in depth project. It lasts anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks. This involves building a project around a topic that you feel is important to you and your young people. They will also experience the same stages of animated filmmaking. This mirrors what I do when I work on a film. Learning Storyboarding, Audio skills, Writing scripts, building puppets etc.

What we Offer

Our animation workshops at Meriline Art offer young people a fun and engaging way to explore storytelling, creativity, and technical skills. By learning the basics of animation, participants can bring their ideas to life while developing problem-solving, teamwork, and patience. These workshops not only foster artistic expression but also build confidence and inspire a sense of accomplishment as they see their creations come to life on screen. It’s a fantastic way for young people to express their voice and imagination!
